Once you're in the air, enter bullet time and shoot the switch on the mechanism with a bow and arrow to reveal a path to the shrine. Head to the small platform and wait for it to propel you upwards. Use this to open the gate on the mechanism. Head into the small hallway to the left and open the chest for a Small Key. This activates a small platform in the center of the room.
Shoot the switch again to throw the sphere into the receptacle behind it. Throw the sphere into the metal basket on the mechanism. Take the sphere and shoot the switch again. Shoot the switch to your right to flip the mechanism and gain access to the sphere on the other side of the gate.
